On January 18, 2024, the ski mountaineering event of the first-ever Altai Mountains Winter Sports Games was held at the Jiangjunshan International Ski Resort in Altay City, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. A total of 26 contestants from four countries participated in this competition.
