Tianshannet-Xinjiang Daily (Fan Feifei) news: The second session of the 14th People's Congress of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region began on Jan 30, 2024, at the Xinjiang People's Hall in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. According to the government report, in 2023, the total import and export volume of the region reached RMB357.33 billion, and the growth rate ranked the second in China. Investment introduced from outside the region increased by 16.5 percent, and the actual utilization of foreign capital increased by 48.3 percent.
