Biedieli port in NW China’s Xinjiang will be opened to business in 2024

Tianshannet-Xinjiang Daily (Fan Feifei) news: The second session of the 14th People's Congress of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region began on Jan 30, 2024, at the Xinjiang People's Hall in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Erkin Tuniyaz, Chairman of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, delivered the report on the work of the government.

According to the government report, Xinjiang will move faster to build port infrastructure, promote “smart ports,” continuously optimize the customs clearance process, and improve the capacity of customs clearance. The Biedieli port will be opened to business, and Xinjiang will work harder to keep the Khunjerab port open all year round.
