Hami Land Port Center records 260 mln yuan in transportation value during its half-year operation

Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Cai Zengle, Correspondent Guo Ziyi) news: "Since its operation on September 23, 2023, the Hami Land Port Center has transported goods valued at over 200 million yuan (about 27.88 million U.S. dollars)," said Wang Zhizhen, deputy general manager of Xinjiang Jitai Hengshun Logistics Operation Co., Ltd.on March 22, 2024.

In Hami Land Port Center, containers were neatly stacked, and reach stackers shuttled back and forth with goods on the platform. Goods from both inside and outside Xinjiang gather at this logistics port and were transported to various places by the China-Europe freight trains.

Since its opening operation, the Hami Land Port Center has fully utilized its advantages of wide accessibility, large transportation volume, short transportation time and strong stability. Its transportation volume has ranked third among the 76 enterprises in Xinjiang that operate international intermodal trains.

At present, the goods sent from the Hami Land Port Center are mainly household appliances, solar photovoltaic panels, auto parts, medical equipment, etc. The goods are sent out of the country through Horgos and Alataw Pass to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. As of now, about 260 million yuan (about 36.24 million U.S. dollars) worth of goods have been shipped.
