After a few rains, the grasses and trees along the river have sprouted new buds. Originating from the middle of the Tianshan Mountains, the Kaidu River rushes out of the mountains, flowing through the Bayanbulak Grassland, flowing through the Swan Lake, and running to China's largest inland freshwater lake, Bosten Lake.

The Kaidu River and the Peacock River converge to form the downstream source of the Tarim River, assuming the critical role of discharging water into the lower reaches of the Tarim River to facilitate its ecological restoration.
