Being regarded as the "king of berries," blueberry features high nutritional and economic value. The climate and natural conditions of Payzawat County are very suitable for the growth of blueberries. In September 2021, a blueberry base was built in Cangcun Village of Tirimu Township. In March 2022, potted blueberries were successfully planted in greenhouses.

March and April are the peak seasons for blueberry picking in Xinjiang, and a large number of blueberries are being sold across the country through e-commerce and live streaming. In order to deliver fresh blueberries as quickly as they can to customers both inside and outside Xinjiang, express companies set up collection points in advance in the blueberry base, arrange express workers and vehicles to ensure safe storage and fast delivery of blueberries’ remote delivery. It achieves packing as soon as blueberries are harvested with real-time delivery and air delivery to all parts of the country, and the delivery time is two to three days.

Liu Junjie, who is in charge of the Kashi Branch of Xinjiang SF Express Co., Ltd., said, "Since blueberries started to ripen, we have collected nearly 3,000 pieces of blueberries, more than two tons, and the average daily shipment is 200 to 300 pieces. Each pack of super-level blueberries with 750 grams is priced at 178 yuan (about 24.58 US dollars), and each first-level one is 148 yuan (about 20.44 US dollars). Among the delivery destinations, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Xi'an and other places have more orders."

Wang Xiaohu, secretary of the leading Party members' group and director of the Postal Administration of Kashi Prefecture, said that Kashi SF Express will take the achievements and experience of helping Payzawat blueberries sell well all over the country as an opportunity to further play the role of postal express as a link, provide professional supply chain services for local characteristic agricultural products to sell well in cities across the country through e-commerce, and effectively contribute to the two-way channels of “promoting the upward movement of agricultural products to urban areas and industrial products to the countryside.” Moreover, it is expected to help farmers increase income and promote the revitalization of rural industries to contribute to industry strength.
