The expo covers an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and hosts over 850 participating companies from 10 countries, including the United States, Germany, Japan, and Italy, as well as 23 provinces and cities in China.

Among them are six Fortune Global 500 companies, with nearly 90 percent of the participating companies from outside Xinjiang. The exhibition area and the number of participating companies have increased by 42 percent and 37 percent, respectively, compared to the previous year. Concurrently, events such as the 2024 Belt and Road Pasture Summit and Xinjiang International Smart Livestock Industry Expo, the 2024 China (Western Region) Modern Agricultural Inputs Expo, the 2024 Asia Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo (Xinjiang), and the China international trade fair for automotive part (Xinjiang) will be held to create a modern agriculture platform integrating information, technology, cooperation, trade, investment, and services.

The 24th Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Expo will further optimize its product structure, showcasing over 13,000 units of more than 8,000 varieties of agricultural machinery products from both domestic and foreign markets, among which over 80 percent are domestically manufactured agricultural equipment. The emphasis will be placed on showcasing smart agriculture, intelligent agricultural machinery, IoT in modern agriculture and information technology, and equipment. The event will also include an opening ceremony, forums, investment promotions, and trade promotion activities. The Pasture Summit, which focuses on empowering new productivity with smart livestock farming to promote the high-quality development of premium livestock products, will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas along the livestock breeding, planting, and processing industry chain.

The Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Expo has successfully held 23 sessions, with a total on-site transaction volume of approximately 21 billion yuan (about 2.95 billion U.S. dollars). The expo attracted over 7,000 participating enterprises and received nearly 750,000 professional visitors.

This event not only enhanced the visibility and influence of the participating enterprises but also facilitated exchanges, cooperation, and project implementation in Xinjiang. It also effectively boosted the development of Xinjiang's service industry, including catering, accommodation, tourism, and shopping, highlighting the functions of "exhibition + industry," "exhibition + tourism," and "exhibition + consumption."
