The Quici mascots, created by Guangdong Huahao Cultural Technology Group, serve as a digital cultural and creative intellectual property (IP) of the Quici culture, which is a world cultural heritage. Their creation was inspired by the Kizil Grottoes. According to Li Liting, director of Guangdong Huahao Cultural Technology Group, Quici mascots extract common elements such as images, colors, and wire drawing techniques from the murals in the Kizil Grottoes. The designers also incorporated images of agricultural products into the creation of the mascots, thereby promoting both local agricultural products and Quici culture.

During the expo, ‘Treasure of the Silk Road - Quici Culture’ themed exhibition will be held at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Enterprise Hall. Through a model of cultural empowerment for industry, it aims to promote economic development while incorporating the concept of "Belt and Road" to advance international cooperation. This comprehensive deepening of Xinjiang's cultural exchange and cooperation with foreign countries will consolidate existing achievements and help propel Xinjiang's culture onto a broader stage.

The exhibition design replicated the spatial arrangement of the Kizil Grottoes and enhanced the color tones found in the grottoes, with the aim of providing visitors an immersive experience through digital technologies. The display area combines modern spatial aesthetics with an oriental artistic conception. The Kizil Grotto murals and digital cultural creations will closely ‘engage with’ visitors through the "digital interactive screen" at the central location, facilitating a more immersive and vivid comprehension of Quici culture. In addition, the statues of the six Quici mascots will also serve as popular spots for taking photos, showcasing the beauty and charm of Quici culture.

Li Liting expressed that by making the appearance at the 8th China-Eurasia Expo, Quici mascots will become better known and further help the revitalization of the Quici culture.
