The 8th China-Eurasia Expo concluded on June 30 in Urumqi, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. For the first time, a delegation from the United States participated in the Expo. It also marked the first visit of U.S. e-commerce trade representatives to Xinjiang for discussions on business and trade cooperation. 

Paul Anthony Courtney, mayor of Barstow, stated that through participating in the Expo, he gained a deeper understanding of the real situation in Xinjiang, and witnessed Xinjiang's positive attitude towards foreign trade. He said, “I have already planned to bring my family to Xinjiang again in September!”
