Number of Tianshan freight trains exceeds 300

"Today, a total of 50 containers have already been shipped, and during peak periods, we need to ship over 300," Li Wenjun, a staff member overseeing container loading at the Urumqi assembly center in Urumqi International Land Port Area, said on July 9, 2024. On this day, Xinjiang's Tianshan freight train achieved a milestone of surpassing 300 in mumber. These trains were dispatched to countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan primarily for the transportation of automotive parts, agricultural products, daily necessities, clothing, and footwear. The cumulative shipment volume has exceeded 250 thousand tons with goods valued at over RMB 7 billion.
