Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Qin Meihua) news: On August 22, 2024, Tang Ke, an American student at Peking University, learned folk dance from local residents in Qiuci Alley of Kuqa City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Tang Ke excitedly said, “I have learned how to move my neck.” On the same day, a total of 54 international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan from Peking University, who participated in the Xinjiang study tour, went to the Qiuci Alley in Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture to visit ancient dwellings, appreciate folk songs and dances, taste specialties, and experience the life of local people.

It is reported that the Qiuci Alley, located in Kuqiairike Community, Saksak Street, Kuqa City has a total length of 1,000 meters. It is the most well preserved street and alley layout in the old city area during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, and it is also a popular spot for tourists in Kuqa City. Since its opening, it has attracted numerous domestic and foreign tourists to come and visit.

In Kuqa City, they also visited the ruins of the ancient city of Subash, the Kizilgaha Beacon Tower, and the King palace in Kuqa so that they would further understand and experience the long history and culture of Xinjiang.
