From August 19 to 23, 2024, China tour for Pakistani media and think tank 2024 came to Xinjiang, China, and visited its Urumqi City and Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. During the five-day trip, the delegation visited various sites, including the Xinjiang Islamic Institute, the Tianshan Cloud Computing Industrial Base and Green Valley Science and Innovation Park, the Xinjiang Muqam Art Theater, the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, and the Kazanqi folk tourism area, gaining a firsthand understanding of Xinjiang's harmonious and stable society, thriving economy, diverse and inclusive culture, united ethnic groups and religious harmony, as well as the peaceful and prosperous lives of its people.

During an exclusive interview in the home of a local resident in the Kazanqi folk tourism area, Murtaza Solangi, former Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan and the current chief editor of Stratheia, expressed that this trip to China had allowed him to witness the true Xinjiang. "I have seen with my own eyes the happiness and joy in their eyes," he said. In the interview, Solangi spoke with deep emotion about his profound impressions from this journey. He stated that this trip had exposed the lies perpetuated by Western media about China's Xinjiang. He said that Xinjiang not only boasts breathtaking natural scenery but also simple-hearted and kind-natured people living in a prosperous and harmonious society. “There is nothing powerful than the facts and the reality,” he said.
