Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Yu Xi) news: The 7th Golden Bridge (Kashi) International Expo will open at Kashi International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kashi City, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, from November 1 to 3, 2024.

The promotion conference of the 7th Golden Bridge (Kashi) International Expo was held by its organizing committee on October 10, 2024. It is learned that this Expo will feature over 400 international standard exhibition booths across an area exceeding 10,000 square meters. More than 300 enterprises from within and outside China’s Xinjiang, as well as from countries such as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, have registered to participate, further highlighting its international nature. The Expo will encompass a wide range of items, including various daily necessities, agricultural and sideline products, clothing, footwear, and headwear, art collections, service trades, electronic products, medical and healthcare products, and automotive accessories, all rich in ethnic flavors. During the Expo, numerous distinctive activities such as live streaming sales events, special signing ceremonies, fashion shows, and raffles will be held, presenting a culturally rich and highlight-filled Expo for people of all ethnic groups.

Dilare Kurban, director of the Expo’s organizing committee, stated, "Holding the Expo in Kashi leverages its unique charm of 'five passes connecting eight countries, one road linking Europe and Asia' to vigorously promote mutually beneficial economic and trade partnerships between enterprises in China’s Xinjiang and neighboring countries, contributing Kashi's strength to the high-quality joint construction of the 'Belt and Road'."

It is understood that the China Xinjiang Asia Europe Golden Bridge International Expo is an international and comprehensive exhibition to further promote the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, accelerate the development and prosperity of private enterprises and ethnic industries in China’s Xinjiang, and expand into international markets. Since its inaugural session in 2014, the Expo has successfully held six sessions, with a cumulative total exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters and over 5,000 international standard exhibition stands. More than 3,300 domestic and foreign exhibitors have participated, attracting over 400,000 visitors. The intended transaction volume has exceeded 7 billion yuan (about 988.77 million U.S. dollars), resulting in a series of influential and exemplary cooperation achievements.
