The World Media Summit is an important high-level global media exchange platform. The summit this year is co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the people’s government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

More than 500 representatives from 106 countries and regions, including 208 mainstream media organizations, government bodies, as well as United Nations agencies and international organizations, gather at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center to discuss plans for cooperation and development strategy in world media exchanges.
