On the first day of their arrival in Urumqi, the delegation visited the Xinjiang Museum and the planning hall of the Urumqi Cultural Center to gain a deep understanding of the history and culture of Xinjiang. At the Xinjiang Museum, the members gazed intently at each artifact, from the exquisite silk textiles to the simple bronze ware, and from the mysterious cave murals to the precious historical documents. Each exhibit seemed like a key, unlocking the door to their exploration of Xinjiang's history.

Upon arriving at the planning hall of the Urumqi Cultural Center, the modern presentation methods caught the attention of the members. The massive sand table model vividly displayed the panorama of Urumqi City and the grand blueprint for its future development.

Kalashnikov remarked that through the visit, they gained a clear understanding of the past, present, and future of Xinjiang and Urumqi, and observed that Urumqi is rapidly developing. He expressed his belief that the targets set out in the plan will certainly be achieved, and that such planning is worthy of emulation and learning by other cities.

At the Urumqi International Land Port Area, cargo vehicles buzzed back and forth, and a lot of containers bearing the logos of various countries and companies were neatly stacked... The bustling scene highlighted the tangible achievements of the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. The members listened attentively to the explanations, visited various exhibition boards and displays, and highly affirmed the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt.

Upon entering the Meilingou Imported Commodity Bonded Experience Center located in Urumqi, general trade goods and bonded goods, such as perfume, jewelry, skincare and beauty products, and daily household items, are displayed side by side, with hundreds of imported products dazzling the eyes.

"The store is only thirty to forty kilometers away from the Urumqi Comprehensive Bonded Zone. After consumers place orders for bonded goods online, customs clearance is conducted in real-time. Within three to five minutes, the goods can leave the bonded zone and arrive at the express delivery section. Goods are delivered within the same city within 24 hours, and throughout the entire Xinjiang within three days," said Zaidulla Tursun, chairman of Xinjiang Hechuang Meixin Technology Development Co., Ltd. Upon hearing his introduction, members of the delegation couldn't help but express their admiration.

Upon arriving at the sixth generation of the state gate at the Horgos Port, they gained an in-depth understanding of the customs clearance procedures for goods. They truly felt the pivotal role of Horgos in the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. Over the years, Horgos has made full use of both domestic and international markets and resources, leveraging its geographical, policy, and openness advantages to accelerate the construction of an international logistics corridor.

At the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center, the members delved into the various functions of the center, including trade negotiations, product display and sales, warehousing and transportation, and financial services. The center not only facilitates trade between China and Kazakhstan but also provides an important platform for third-country goods to enter the Central Asian market, demonstrating the broad prospects and tremendous potential of cross-border cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

At the Alexander accordion collection hall on the Liuxing Street in Yining City, the delegation was deeply captivated by the over 800 accordions on display, each with its unique shape and color. These accordions hail from more than 20 countries. Some are even rare antique treasures. The members were particularly intrigued by a vintage accordion with a history of over 190 years. They stopped to admire it and listened to a live accordion performance.

Kalashnikov expressed that through the visit, he witnessed the true Xinjiang, with its crisscrossing railways and highways, bustling ports filled with traffic and crowds, and people enjoying the pleasures brought by tax-free shopping and culture. He felt the potential for development in the region and saw a Xinjiang that is thriving and growing.
