Wildlife in Xinjiang | Snow leopard

The snow leopard is a subspecies that belongs to the Panthera family. Under first-class state protection, snow leopards usually live in mountains between 2,500 meters and 5,000 meters high and can withstand temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius. The species is also known as the "king of snow mountains."
