Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Qin Meihua) news: On November 18, 2024, the Health Commission of Shuimogou District, Urumqi City, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in collaboration with the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute, held a Traditional Chinese Medicine cultural experience event. Forty foreigners from 14 countries, including Pakistan, Georgia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, learned about the methods of traditional Chinese medicine for treating illnesses and promoting health, tasted herbal teas and medicinal pastes, and studied the identification of Chinese medicinal materials, gaining an up-close understanding of Chinese medicine culture and experiencing its charm.
