Recently, Belarusian Ambassador to China Aleksandr Chervyakov and his entourage visited northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. They toured enterprises, hospitals, museums, and scenic spots to experience the vitality and unique charm of Xinjiang's development. The Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, with its bustling crowds, dazzling array of goods, and distinctive architecture, gave the ambassador and his entourage a strong sense of the region's vibrant life.
Talking about the U.S. and Western media's inaccurate reports on Xinjiang, Chervyakov said that the actions of Western media and American media were just absurd. He emphasized that it was necessary to objectively assess the situation. To do that, one had to come to Xinjiang, instead of saying that the tomatoes are not good or that the cotton is not of high quality and so on.
Chervyakov said that Xinjiang has very good development prospects, which left a good impression on him. After returning home, he will share the good feelings of this trip with his friends and relatives, and he looks forward to revisiting Xinjiang in the future to further explore its potential.
