Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Li Jiani) news: On the morning of January 17, 2025, the press center for the "two sessions" of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was officially put into use at Xinjiang Daily (Group) in Urumqi, and the online press center on Tianshannet and Shiliuyun app went live simultaneously, releasing news and providing service for both domestic and international journalists.
At present, 297 journalists from various media outlets have registered to cover the "two sessions" of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including 55 from China's central media outlets, 233 from local ones, three from China's Hong Kong and Macao, and six from foreign countries.

The Third Session of the 14th People's Congress of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Third Session of the 13th Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee of the CPPCC are set to commence on January 19 and January 18, 2025, in Urumqi, respectively. The press center has been prepared with press briefing area for interviews during the 2025 Xinjiang regional "two sessions."
The press center is leveraging Shiliuyun app, an autonomous region-level convergence media platform, to build an all-media reporting hub in collaboration with autonomous region-level media outlets, county-level media convergence centers, and the Xinjiang Today Media Hub, featuring the application of generative AI.

The press center has press briefing area, intelligent broadcasting studio, public workspace for all-media journalists, and simultaneous interpretation area, with 5G full coverage and dedicated internet access. It is equipped with computers, cameras, switchboards, all-in-one machines, sound consoles, and staffed by professional technicians. The online press center is accessible to all media outlets, providing real-time updates on session agendas, announcements, and other event-related information. It offers reports in Chinese, Uygur and Kazak, while also providing coverage in foreign languages such as English and Russian.

Additionally, to enhance the understanding of Xinjiang among both domestic and international journalists, the press center features a reading area that offers a variety of multilingual publications, including Xinjiang Daily newspaper, Xinjiang Today magazine, Continental Bridge magazine, and Youlin magazine, along with audiovisual products.
