The Third Session of the 13th CPPCC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee is held in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Some foreign diplomats stationed in China, representatives from international organizations, and representatives from foreign and China’s Hong Kong-Macao media were invited to sit in on the opening meeting. Additionally, seven overseas Chinese and individuals from China’s Hong Kong and Macao have been invited to attend as non-voting attendees.
