An ICH exhibition for the Spring Festival launched in NW China’s Xinjiang

Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Tang Yong) news: On January 24, 2025, the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) exhibition for the Spring Festival was launched at the Xinjiang Art Museum. Focusing on the theme of "Spring Festival's customs in Chinese characters," the event highlighted ten auspicious characters, presenting the traditional Chinese New Year's customs and the charm of intangible cultural heritage in various forms.

It is understood that the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will launch a series of intangible cultural heritage and Spring Festival's customs exhibitions across Xinjiang. The activities will last for 37 days and include 228 various ICH display events, both online and offline.
