5.0-magnitude quake hits central Myanmar

YANGON, April 11 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar at about 10:59 a.m. local time on Friday, the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was located about five miles southeast of Wundwin town in Mandalay region, the report said.
