Female auxiliary police officer saves a toddler from a 40-meter-deep well

At around 10:45 am on April 16, 2025, the Hanggui Police Station of Lop County Public Security Bureau received an emergency call from a local resident. The resident reported that his two-year-old child had fallen into a well and requested assistance. Police officers immediately dispatched to the location and contacted the fire department, hospital, and other relevant authorities.

When police arrived, they found the toddler about 40 meters down the well, with half her body submerged in mud. The well opening was less than 40 centimeters in diameter, making it impossible for anyone present then to climb down. As they desperately sought a solution, Bupatam Abdukader, a slender auxiliary police officer, volunteered to be lowered into the well to rescue the child.

With a rope secured around her waist, Bupatam Abdukader was lowered into the well. Reaching the bottom, she quickly pulled the child from the mud and tied another rope around her. With everyone working together, the toddler was safely lifted out of the well.

Currently, the toddler is out of immediate danger and is receiving further treatment at the hospital.
