Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Zhao Xiya) news: On May 12, 2025, the first China-Central Asia Education Ministers’ Meeting was convened in Urumqi City, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The China-Central Asia Industry-Education Integration Alliance was officially established at the meeting. This alliance will focus on China-Central Asia international capacity cooperation, creating the "China-Central Asia" industry-education integration brand, and better serving the construction of the China-Central Asia community with a shared future.

With the support of the education departments of China and Central Asian countries, the China-Central Asia Industry-Education Integration Alliance is guided by the China Education Association for International Exchange(CEAIE) and led by institutions such as Xinjiang Agricultural Vocational Technical University and Tajik Agrarian University, with the participation of over 70 domestic and foreign universities and enterprises. The alliance has established specialized committees to promote cooperation in various fields, with the first batch planning to set up six committees in modern agriculture, transportation, energy and chemicals, non-ferrous metals, construction engineering, and trade and logistics.
The China-Central Asia Industry-Education Integration Alliance focuses on promoting an overall layout, coordinating all parties, gathering resources, establishing mechanisms, and building brands, ensuring the development of Chinese institutions and enterprises entering Central Asia, forming a joint force and achieving results. The alliance will specifically implement the "1231" project, which includes accelerating the construction of the alliance, establishing two platforms that operate both online and offline, and advancing three programs focused on skilled workforce development, industrial growth, and cultural partnerships.
According to the relevant official from the China-Central Asia Industry-Education Integration Alliance, the establishment of the alliance will better build a friendly relationship for the integration of industry and education development between China and Central Asia, create a model for internationalized industry-education integration development in the region and even globally, provide strong technical support and talent backing for economic development and social progress in China and Central Asia, and promote common development among all parties.
