Discover the enchanting pines and mist in Hejing County

On May 10, 2025, Gongnaisi Town in Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was brimming with poetic charm. Vast pine forests intertwined with ethereal mist, sketching a breathtaking natural ecological landscape.

In the early morning, the rolling mountains of Gongnaisi Town stood layered and majestic, with towering pines stretching like an green barrier to the horizon. Sunlight pierced through the morning fog, casting a delicate golden shimmer on the pine needles. A mountain breeze swept through, sending waves of green rippling across countless trees, while the fresh scent of pine resin lingered in the air.

The mist, like fluid ink, curled around the mountainsides like drifting ribbons. At times, it transformed into cotton-like clouds weaving through the forest, dancing with the whispering pines to create a magical scene of "clouds wandering among the trees, and forests floating amid the mist."

At the foot of the mountains, the Gongnaisi River flowed gently, its crystal-clear surface reflecting the blue sky, white clouds and lush pine forests. The occasional flutter of mountain birds added vitality to the tranquil wilderness.

In recent years, with strengthened ecological conservation efforts, the forest coverage in Gongnaisi Town has continued to increase. The town is now leveraging its unique natural resources to promote the integration of eco-tourism and rural revitalization, allowing this "green paradise" hidden deep within the Tianshan Mountains to be discovered by more people.
