In the early hours of May 27, a long line of tractor trucks carrying commercial vehicles entered the centralized inspection yard at Horgos Road Port in an orderly fashion. Supported by round-the-clock customs clearance services, these vehicles will cross the border and be shipped to markets in Central Asia and Europe.
"Our company has facilitated the export of over 3,000 commercial vehicles since the start of this year. The faster business turnover has greatly boosted our competitiveness in the global market," said Liu Xiaoli, a business manager at Horgos Mingchang International Trading Co., Ltd.
Yang Qiang, head of the First Supervision Section at Horgos Customs, explained that while maintaining the "Customs fast-tracks clearances" mode for self-driven vehicle exports, the customs has also introduced a dedicated liaison system for commercial vehicle exporters. By aligning with companies' export schedules and providing customized clearance plans, the process is streamlined to save time and ensure no delays.
