On June 23, 2025, the event "China in the Eyes of Sinologists: A Cultural Tour in Xinjiang" kicked off. Fourteen sinologists from 13 countries including Russia, the United States, France and Italy visited scenic spots in Kashi, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The sinologists expressed that they were deeply impressed and gained a lot from the tour. Christie Henry, President of Princeton University Press in the United States, noted that Kashi boasts rich and diverse cultures, and she can't wait to share her experience in Xinjiang with people around the world.
