InXinjiang⑨|German PhD student: China provides alternatives to the Western growth models

From October 11 to 31, 2023, 23 young sinologists from 21 countries, including the Philippines, Germany, Argentina and Uzbekistan, carried out research in Urumqi City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Kashi Prefecture and Turpan Prefecture in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During this visit, they witnessed Xinjiang's social stability, steady economic development, and the real life of Xinjiang people.

Fabian Niklas Hiller, a PhD student of Eberhard Karls University in Germany, had his own picture of Xinjiang where all ethnic groups live in harmony, which made him feel the charm of this land. Xinjiang was not like what he had learned through Western media reports.
